Hey GracePointe! Pastor Emily here! I just wanted to take the time to update you on the big things that are happening with our next generation, big kids and small!
This past week some of our youth students and leaders went to Never the Same camp in Indiana. Our students had a blast getting to participate in the talent show, compete in games and tournaments, and go to special classes on different topics of Christian life. It was an impactful week where they had opportunities to interact with other churches, pray for healing over one another, accept salvation or a call into ministry, and make a recommitment to Christ. We had five students make recommitments, two wanting to be baptized, and one who got a call into ministry. Thank you for all your support getting these students to camp and allowing them to experience God in ways they haven't before. They are already talking about next year!

Our kids ministry has big things coming as well! Join us for VBS this year! We are excited to invite kindergarten to 5th grade students into our church every evening for a week to learn about the parables in our On the Case VBS. Our kids will be detectives and work together to solve the mysteries of the parables to find what Jesus was truly teaching his disciples. We have been planning and preparing for kids to attend and experience large group time, games, snacks, and crafts together. During the week, we will also be having a service night during our large group time where our kids will be packing and praying over backpacks to go to our local elementary schools for students who may need them. Registration is open now and we hope that we see who God brings through our doors!
